I'm called The Yorkshire Rambler because I'm from Yorkshire because I ramble. But not rambling as in walking. More like rambling as in wittering on all
the time. Trouble is though my user name reminds me of the Yorkshire Ripper.

My username Ellens mum comes fromt he fact that I am Ellen's mum! I later changed it to Why Ellen? because I was wondering why Ellen? Nobody else in the
family has these reading problems.

. On the positive side though it does help those of us with bad memories remember your real name. I
can change your display name to make you appear as Tracey if you like. You still log in as trace36 and your profile will still look the same. The only
difference is that on this message board you will look like your usename is Tracey. Kind of like how I am TheYorkshireRambler but appear as Louise.

My first name Jeanne is pronounced the French way (sounds kind of like John, not Jean, which is how most people pronounce when they just see it spelled out.)
About 10 years ago, I used to work as a veterinary technician (very fun job by the way!) My boss and I had a great working relationship and he used to love to
tease me about what ever. One day he was reminiscing about old t.v shows and he brought up the Gong Show (very bad '70's era talent show for those of
you unfamiliar with it). One of the ongoing routines was this guy named Gene Gene the Dancing Machine. Out of the blue he says, "Jeanne Jeanne the
dancing Pecan. I'm going to call you that from now on". It got shortened to Dancing Pecan or the Pecan and stuck. I got a kick out it and have
kept it (obviously!)
